Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst

Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and operational excellence of the organization's property management portfolio. This position is responsible for researching complex account activity, performing detailed reconciliations, managing special assessments, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of receivables. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and resolve complex accounts receivable inquiries and discrepancies.
- Analyze and reconcile unit owner payments and account balances.
- Manage special assessments including calculation, setup, tracking, and reporting.
- Maintain and monitor special assessment schedules and amortization balances.
- Prepare and analyze AR reports, including prepaids and adjustments.
- Process and track special assessment transfers for assigned properties.
- Ensure accurate reserve transfers are completed on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Review and implement approved budget updates, including maintenance fee changes.
- Set up and maintain client and property data within Yardi.
- Coordinate ClickPay setup, communication, and troubleshooting.
- Provide support and backup coverage for AR leadership as needed.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience in accounts receivable or accounting functions preferred.
- Property management industry experience is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Experience with Yardi or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
